The Pecheur Cottage:

“Our family and my parents so enjoyed our week at Le Moulin. The setting is idyllic, the lake is beautiful and we simply had a fantastic time. The location and Pecheur cottage were excellent with everything we needed, and the kids loved the safe pool, swings and space to roam. We only had to ask and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend it to anyone for a great holiday and promise we will definitely be back!”

“Just a note to say a big thank you for making our fortnight family stay with you so enjoyable. The location and Pecheur cottage were perfect and your hospitality was so welcoming. My car has recovered and regained its suspension but it was worth it as we continue to enjoy the abundance of wine we brought home! There was a lot more we would like to see in the region, and coupled with the fact we just loved the relaxed way of life, will definitely be back to see you again in the future”.

"Thank you for such a wonderful holiday! We had the pleasure of staying in the Fisherman's Cottage which had everything we needed coupled with stunning views from the bedroom. The pool is phenomenal, you will not want to get out...that is unless you fancy a soak in the hot tub! Location is spot on; everything you would wish to visit is no more than a 30 minute drive, with local patisseries and butchers a mere 5 minutes. Loches market is a must; Apple's fresh from the Moulin's trees, Jude's tomatoes, lazing in the hammock, a walk in the woods...speechless! Happy holidays!"

The Jardinier Cottage:

“Thank you all so much for everything you did to make us feel so welcome. We had a wonderful week in the Jardinier with our two children, and really had no idea how much there would be for them on our doorstep! You really have done amazing things at the Moulin and we will be spreading the word!”
(Madlin & Rupert S., London)

“We stayed for a week in June. Our hosts Jude & Julian were excellent, giving impeccable directions from Tours airport. The Jardinier gite was just as we expected from the web-site and proved a perfect base for touring the Loire Valley. The property was clean and well-presented and the level of customer service provided was excellent, down to our hosts even bringing in our washing on the one wet day that came! I would not hesitate in recommending it to anyone as it all helped make our French holiday most enjoyable”.
(Gerard S., Co. Mayo, Ireland).

“Thank you for a lovely holiday, we felt very welcome, and it was a really good break for us all. I think the best part was the lovely pool, and of course the wonderful meal that we had on the Jardinier terrace on the last evening. Jude has a real gift being able to cook such fantastic food. It’s rained lots back in England, so we know for sure we are home!”
(Pam & Michael M., Worcs., England)

The Four a Pain:

“We just wanted to thank you for the great holiday we both had in July in the Four a Pain at your beautiful property. We really enjoyed swimming in the heated pool and our picnics on the island as well as visiting some stunning chateau’s in a very peaceful, relaxing and unspoilt part of the Loire Valley. Thanks also for the great company and we both look forward to visiting again next year.”
(Peter & Alison B, Sittingbourne, Kent)

“We spent a week in the Four a Pain in June before we got married. We booked it fairly last minute as it looked romantic and the perfect place for some relaxation before the Big Day…and boy did we strike it lucky. What a fantastic time, idyllic setting and perfect hosts! I can’t recommend it enough! We will certainly be back for an anniversary break in the future.”
(Georgia H., Liverpool)

"We were in the smallest gite, Le Four a Pain, but it was perfectly located with all we could need including a small private terrace overlooking the pool. We were made enormously welcome by Jude & Julian and I have never enjoyed such a relaxing holiday in such a glorious setting - we did very little of our 'to see' list! The service provided is friendly and efficient (but not intrusive) and Jude is a wonderful cook so you don't even have to go out for a super dinner (and the invitation to help ourselves from the orchard was much appreciated). We rarely return to the same place twice, but I am sorely tempted. Thanks for a wonderful stay!"
